Frankie, 10yrs, had her performance at the ISA Swimming Nationals recognised by the ISA this week. The ISA National Ambassador for Sport, Mr Roger Brierly came into Shoreham College to surprise Frankie with the award for ‘Junior Girls Best Performance’.
Frankie had competed at the Olympic pool back in January coming away with 2 individual gold medals: Y5 50m Backstroke, and Y5 50m Freestyle, where she was a breath away from breaking the national record.
A truly outstanding achievement on the day, and wonderful for it to be recognised in this way.
Mr Taylor-West said “' Frankie seems to be a swimmer showing huge potential at the moment. I have seen her swim and it is impressive. Events like the ISA competition held in the Olympic pool truly inspire youngsters and perhaps hers will be a name to watch for the future.'
