OSA Netball - Saturday 16th November 2013
On a gloriously sunny November day, three teams of girls arrived at the College to take part in the annual netball tournament. Two teams of Old Shorehamers battled it out with the School team. The current pupils had the advantage of playing together regularly and they were ultimately victorious, even though the older girls put up a good fight! The matches were played in very good spirit and enjoyed by all who took part plus the spectators who turned out to support the teams.
Lucie Ellinger accepted the winning trophy on behalf of the School team, which was presented during afternoon tea. My thanks go to Mrs Liley for organising the tournament and also to Miss Heard for umpiring. Thank you also to Mr Warner and the College for hosting the event.
