86th Reunion Dinner – Saturday 16th November 2013
The 86th Reunion Dinner was held once again at the Metropole in Brighton. The Dinner provides a good opportunity for Old Shorehamers to meet and catch up with their old school friends and their teachers.
Following a sumptuous four-course meal, the traditional speeches took place and the hotly contested ‘Guess the length of the Headmaster’s speech’ was won by Katie Thomas. As the formal events came to a close, the disco started up taking those with the energy, through to the early hours. This rounded off a very enjoyable evening!
Thank you to all those who attended the Dinner, especially the new faces. And a special thank you to Mr Harrison for stepping in as MC and to David Abbott, who stood in for Edward Gray, President of the OSA, who was overseas celebrating his 80th birthday! Final thanks to Mr Warner and the College for their continued support of the Association.
